This course allows students to develop knowledge and skills to properly use a dry suit. During this course students will learn about:
- • Different types of Dry Suits
- • Dry Suit Accessories
- • Dry Suit Maintenance and Basic Repairs
- • Benefits of Diving in a Dry Suit.
This course is a combination of one (1) Classroom Session / Equipment Lecture and one (1) Pool Session.
Following the completion of your training students must complete one (1) day of diving two (2) Evaluation Dry Suit Dives with their instructor. At the successful completion of your course students will receive the SDI Dry Suit Diver Specialty Certification and Diploma.
All classroom and pool sessions are held at Adventure Divers' facility located at 7716 Highway 7, on the west side of Peterborough.
Evaluation dives are held locally.
All course fees are 100% non refundable. Course registration and all on-line codes are valid for one year from date of issue / invoice.
In the unlikely event you have to reschedule your scheduled classroom and or pool session, schedule changes are allowed up to seven (7) days prior. Within seven (7) days a rescheduling fee of $25.00 will be charged. Some exceptions may apply.
Refunds will ONLY be made if a student withdraws from a course prior to the course start date due to medical reasons, substantiated by a signed medical certificate an administrative fee of $50.00 will apply. If a student withdraws from a course once the course has started no refunds are given – no exceptions.
